I can give you some information regarding IIIT Una, as I have a few friends at the institute. IIIT Una has gained popularity in a few years in spite of being a new institute.

Course Curriculum: The syllabus of this college is advanced and updated and the college focuses more on practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. A major part of the GATE syllabus is completed by the second year and from the third year onwards you get the option to choose your subjects. You will get a whole semester for internships.

Faculty: The professors here are very experienced and talented and the director of the college is very good and you can talk to him directly regarding any issues.

The only problem which the new batch will face is that you will be alone in the IIIT campus as all other previous batches are studying in the NIT Hamirpur campus. But this is just a temporary problem and will be resolved very soon.
