Which should I choose, MNNIT Allahabad CSE or DTU SE?
MNNIT Allahabad offers good CSE. In terms of opportunities, MNNIT CSE is at par with top NITs (and even some IITs). As for course curriculum and faculty, these are almost equally good at all top engineering colleges. During 2023 placements, the highest package for CSE at MNNIT was 1.35 CPA, and the average package was 27.57 LPA. SE is comparatively easier than CSE or IT, but it offers similar placement opportunities to its students. SE students are eligible for companies seeking CSE/IT students.
Both the colleges are highly reputed, and you can choose either of them for your B.Tech studies.
Which is better, CSE in IIITM Gwalior or SE in DTU?
One of my friends studied at DTU. To him, it is at par with old IITs and BITS. Let us see why he preferred DTU over any other IIITs or IITs.
- DTU has a 100% placement record. Almost all the big companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft visit their campus for placement
- The salary package sometimes reaches as high as 1.25 crores.
- Recently there has been a change in the system of electives as you can study any subject of any branch. You can also choose online courses which are not present in most of the IITs.
- You can do everything there if you wanna write a research paper and have it published. Then, you can opt for writing a research paper instead of studying the subject.
