Belgaum is definitely not a metro city but it is developing to become a smart city in the coming years. As far as the college is concerned, it has a very beautiful campus. There are a number of places you can explore on campus and never get tired.

  • Academics are quite important here and a number of qualified doctors in different specialties will guide you. The quality of teaching is great right from the first year.
  • With clinical postings, you will be able to gain exposure to different fields in medicine. Your postings will be divided into major and minor. Major ones include medicine, OBG, pediatrics, and surgery with ophthalmology, ENT, and community medicine introduced in the third year.
  • For minor postings, you will be exploring the fields of Dental, Radiology, Casualty, Respiratory Medicine, Anaesthesiology, psychiatry, and dermatology. You will get to see a variety of patients daily at KLE since it is a good hospital in Karnataka.
  • The hostels are pretty decent too and they are a good place to stay.
  • You can also visit the library as it is a big attraction in college. You can refer to a number of books here and study as much as you like.
  • You will also be able to participate in extracurriculars like inter and intra-collegiate sports, cultural and literary events. There are a number of UG-level national conferences held as well.

Overall, it is a great college and you will be able to develop your personality here and excel in academics too. The college has produced some really good doctors throughout the years.
