The mechatronics branch is a combination of departments Mechanical and Electronics. It will provide several benefits in terms of the educational backdrop as well as escalates chances of earning more.

Having said that, the factors relating to learning topics as vividly as possible, alongside earning reasonably well mostly depends upon whether or not you are investing your efficiency in your academic profile. The salary package you secure partially depends upon your experience and education, both hand in hand.

Thus, to secure the best position in any job sector, it is best that you work on yourself and the skills that you possess.

Is it good to join NTTF after tenth standard?

AB
Adira Balaji Posted On : September 14th, 2021
Diploma in mechatronics Mechatronics,NTTF (2018)

Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) does not have an AICTE approval yet which is needed for your degree to be recognized as valid by other institutions in the country. If you are planning to do higher studies after the diploma from NTTF, then you may not get opportunities as it is not recognized. There is no point in doing a degree that is not recognized.

However, if you are looking for just a job after the course and nothing else, then it is good. It has good placement records and you will get ample opportunities for the same. I would say think twice before coming to this college if you are still not sure whether you are doing this course for just a job or higher studies.

Is NTTF good for studying?

CV
Camilla Varghese Posted On : September 10th, 2021
Studied Tool and Die Making at Nettur Technical Training Foundation (2015)

According to some of my friends studying there, NTTF is the best for technical courses. Here are some things I got to know from them:

  • It offers various programs like diplomas, post-graduation, certifications, and post-graduate diplomas.
  • NTTF is an excellent place to study technical courses. It is ranked first in the world for Tie and Dies Making courses.
  • However, getting admission is a difficult task in this course and is taxing for students.
  • The placement percentage of the institute is 99.2%.
  • Almost all the alumni are working around the world in top industries.
Categories NTTF
Highest CTC 6-8 LPA
Average CTC 4 LPA
Recruiting Companies Lohia Corp., Gainwell Commosales, Schneider Electric, Timken Limited, etc.

The job scope is scarce for this course in India as the tooling industry is unorganized. Therefore, the foreign placements are better than in-country. Overall, the institute is worthy enough for an interested student.

How good is the NTTF for a post graduation degree?

AS
Ankit Saha Posted On : October 25th, 2021
studied Tool and Die Making at Nettur Technical Training Foundation (2019)

One of my friends completed his PG in Tool Design a few years back. His experience at the institute was pretty good.

  • There are 1-2 year-long courses that you can choose from. If you are considering joining NTTF, make sure you have good knowledge about the basics of Mechanical Engineering.
  • The faculty base of the institute is great. Most of the professors are retired employees/managers from reputed companies.
  • NTTF has a decent placement record. In the recent placement drive, the highest and average CTC offered was 5 LPA and 1.5 LPA respectively.

If you are a Mechanical Engineer then NTTF is the perfect place for you to explore and learn.

Which one is better for PG diploma in tool design IGTR-Aurangabad or NTTF Bangalore?

SS
Sunil Sharma Posted On : September 14th, 2021
M.E from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University,Aurangabad (2017)

After reading some reviews online, I think that the Indo German Tool Room (IGTR) Aurangabad is better than NTTF Bangalore. It just comes below CTTC Bhubaneswar in terms of quality. Here are some things that make it stand out among others.

  • You will get knowledge in tool design, CAD, CAM, CAE, and CNC.
  • The training is provided 8 hours a day for both long term and short term courses.
  • The tools and the hardware are high-performance ones and you will get a very good experience. The software is updated and thus you will learn very well.
  • The faculty are also top-notch.
Categories IGTR Aurangabad
Course Fee 70,000 - 1 lakh
Highest CTC 3 LPA
Average CTC 2.4-2.6 LPA
Recruiting Companies Tata Mahindra, Minda Corp, Varroc, Endurance, etc.

The only problem with IGTR Aurangabad is that it has very strict rules and regulations. Students are supposed to maintain discipline while inside the college premises. Otherwise, it is a very good course and institute.

Is NTTF worth joining?

JS
Jyoti Singhania Posted On : September 7th, 2021
Studied Diploma in Computer Engineering and Cloud Computing at NTTF, 2020

NTTF is particularly renowned for its practical-oriented learning pedagogy. In fact, the curriculum has more practical learning than any theory at all. However, here are some points to take into consideration.

  1. The courses offered by NTTF are diploma-oriented and they are not equal to any Engineering courses.
  2. Most significantly, you can secure on-campus placements, if only you are highly efficient in cases like these. However, you should make informed decisions regarding similar factors, otherwise ending up at some clerical service jobs is pretty easy.
  3. Most of the alumni students have studied at NEC Bangalore, clearly meaning that they have been exposed to good infrastructure for various lab activities.

The major pitfall that many people anticipate is that diploma courses do not have many options for a job. Thus, choose after you have researched more about your prospects.

Which course is higher regular diploma or NTTF?

SR
Sonakshi Roy Posted On : September 13th, 2021
Nettur Technical Training Foundation

It depends on your career planning. If you are willing to pursue engineering, then a regular diploma with an above-average percentage would be a great option to go for. The estimated tuition charges would be on a lower end as well as it is a regular diploma. If your aim is to land a job as soon as your diploma is completed then it is suggested to opt for NTTF.

  • If you are going abroad for work and your employer asks for your certificate of equivalency from NTTF, then it will be a huge challenge. This certificate is not issued from the state board of technical education. In the case of a regular diploma, you would be able to receive your certificate easily as it is issued by the state board of technical education.
  • The courses at NTTF and GTTC are devised to fulfill the prerequisite of tooling and mechatronics streams. If you opt for tool and Die Making or mechatronics or other similar courses, the challenges your way would increase. You would be at an edge with the continuous explaining of your expertise to your employers your entire life. It is so because the majority of the people are unaware of it.
  • If you opt for mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics, or any other regular Diploma then you would not have the need to explain anything and you would have plenty of opportunities throughout your career as well. You can shuffle from one job to another without any hesitation.

In a regular diploma course, there would be a little struggle in the beginning as the colleges do not provide any immediate placements or training programs. If you look into the future then this is a wise choice rather than the specially designed courses.

PB
Preity Bisht Posted On : September 10th, 2021
Studied Tool and Die Making at Nettur Technical Training Foundation (2019)

NTTF is a good institute for the Tool Design course. The PG is Tool Design is a one-year course. According to one of my friends studying at NTTF, make sure your foundations in mechanical engineering are strong. Also, here are some facts you should keep in mind before deciding:

  • Most of the faculty are retired managers or employers from organizations that are very well known.
  • The knowledge you will get from NTTF would be immense and if you pursue mechanical engineering from this institute then you will get ample opportunities to explore.
  • Coursework is rigorous at NTTF.
  • NTTF has a great brand value but sadly it is on the decline.
  • The placement scenario is declining at NTTF and the students get internship opportunities instead of full time jobs.
  • Only the tool design program attracts recruiters to the campus.
  • In the case of academics, due to the decreasing brand value the technical staff is declining in numbers.
Categories PG Diploma in Tool Design at NTTF
Course Fee INR 78,000
Highest CTC 5 LPA
Average CTC 1.5 LPA

However, B.Tech degree is the best degree in the institute and it is very efficient in getting the students placed. A B.Tech degree from NTTF is respected by companies.
