My friend had a very unpleasant experience with ITM Navi Mumbai last year. The office staff acted very unprofessional and irresponsibly. My friend canceled her admission on 2nd April. However, her token amount of 25000 was not returned for months. The office had given her the deadline of 31st July but no amount was returned near that time. She mailed them several times but the staff did not respond to any of her emails.

ITM Navi Mumbai, Institute for Technology And Management Navi Mumbai campus is a decent institute well-known for its strong focus on Marketing. The college is Grade ‘A’ accredited by NAAC. Here are a few highlights pertaining to the institute 

• Location: ITM Mumbai is located in close proximity to the railway station and enjoys good connectivity with everything from malls to Central Park.
• Infrastructure: ITM Mumbai has great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. The campus has all basic amenities from wifi to LAN ports. 
• Fees: ITM Mumbai PGDM fees are ? 5,20,000/Yr.
• Placements: ITM Navi Mumbai placements 2022 invited 350+ recruiters the top ones being TNS, Amazon, Shoppers Stop, Kotak Mahindra Bank, LG, JP Morgan, and many more. The institute recorded 100% placements with the highest package standing at INR 21 LPA and the average package recorded at INR 8.5 LPA.
• Faculty: The faculty pool is highly qualified and learned with enough experience in their own expertise. Weekends bring in visiting faculty that add to the academic environment.
• Industry exposure: Frequent seminars conducted by companies like Siemens ensure maximum industry exposure to the students. 
• Campus Life: ITM Mumbai has a very happening campus life and you will find students always busy with some or the other activities. There are yoga sessions twice a week in the morning, a course on lifestyle management, and very strict attendance. Frizon is held in November. 

In all, ITM Mumbai is a great place to be if you have no other good options. 

ITM Navi Mumbai is a great option for though looking for a sales profile and are unable to get admission in a tier-1 B School like XIME Blore, Christ Blore, Bimtech Noida, IFMR, Great Lakes Chennai, etc.

The placement scenario here is very unstable and risky considering the high fees. The majority of roles offered are in sales the credibility of which is low. Moreover, finance students are offered very limited core finance jobs.

It’s best to contact the alumni through LinkedIn to get the exact picture and then only consider joining it. Also, if possible give CAT again and try to get into a better B School that guarantees placements and a better learning environment.

Jaipuria Institute of Management is the best choice in terms of faculty, campus life, industry experience and placements. My friends have studied here and had the best experience of their academic life. 

• The faculty members are well-experienced and most of them have a Ph.D. degree with 10-15 years of industry exposure.
• The class environment at the institute consists of practical exposure. It will help you in building practical skills. You will be taught about the industry and its functions. 
• The students here are constantly engaged in extra-curricular activities and a lot of events are also organized.  
• There is a lively atmosphere at both hostels and classrooms.
• The fee structure can be an issue for some students as the total fee for PGDM is 10.55 Lakhs.

Placements for PGDM are excellent and various well-known companies visit the campus for recruitment. The salary packages offer a good return on your investments. 

For the recent batch of 2020, the highest package offered was 19 Lakhs by Amazon and the highest International package recorded was 14.3 Lakhs. Top recruiters for this session were HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, HCL, and Deloitte.

No, I don't think ITM Mumbai is worth taking a loan. The high fees do not do justice to the meager packages received by the students. Despite recording 100% placements, the average is as low as INR 8.5 LPA. It’s better to go for an average institute with low fees. The low packages you will receive will be worth the low fees you invested. 

IMT Navi Mumbai placement cell ensures placements but does not guarantee a good ROI. So the best way is to look for an institute that charges low fees and gives enough ROI. Only then it will be worth a loan.

ITM Navi Mumbai is the best choice if you are seeking sales profiles but not for core finance and HR operations. Moreover, the batch size is huge and the fees are extremely high. Remember you will not just be getting a degree but will be investing in your lifetime career. Here are a few things you should consider before applying to determine if it's worth it or not,

• Determine the kind of profile that suits you the most; HR, Sales, Financial product sales, IT sales, IB sales, Core finance, etc
• Make sure your graduation % aligns with the requirements of the MNC offering job
• 100% placements can be misleading because of “bulk hire & fire “ profiles.
• Determine the average in hand or take-home salary of your dream profile and check its stability from LinkedIn alumni.
• Don't run after the brand name because a company that provides excellent goods and services does not necessarily have a good working environment.
• Some IT giants may offer poor profiles that lack stability where you are not hired under direct company payroll. Beware of such offers.

It's best to contact the old alumni to get hold of the real scenario and only then invest money here.
