The majority of business school interviews take place between February and April, though some may extend into May. Each B-School maintains a one-month window for GD-PI. Interviews are typically completed by mid-April.

Final admission letters begin to be distributed approximately 20-30 days after the end date for GD-PI processes. This is followed by updated wait lists and coverage every fortnight, with the frequency increasing to weekly in the final few weeks before the start of the course.

These business schools typically accept students until the end of the first month of the semester to fill seats vacated by students transferring to other colleges.

For major B-schools, the GD-PI season is usually seen to begin from mid-February. In fact, each of the B-schools keeps a window for it for about a month. After that, the interviews are generally seen to be concluded by the mid of April.

  • The final admission letters for students usually begin rolling out almost 20 to 30 days after the ending date of GD-PI is finally covered.
  • After that, several updated waitlists and conversions start releasing in about every 14 days.
  • However, the time period decreases down on a weekly basis only in the last few days left prior to the commencement.
  • Various top-tier schools, such as XLRI and old IIMs are usually seen to round off their admissions only a few days prior to the commencement is announced.
  • These schools, however, might only keep a small number of days within that period if they somehow expect several candidates to leave post-commencement.

On the other hand, some of the other schools generally shift their waitlists post-commencement for various programs so as to fill the seats. It is mostly seen only when the schools decide to initiate the courses early.
