Should I join IIIT Naya Raipur or IIIT Guwahati?

Among the above two institutes, there are several factors to consider, such as location advantage, fees, placements, rankings, teaching, and infrastructure. Taking the factors like location, placements, etc, IIIT Guwahati is a better choice, but IIIT Naya Raipur defeats the other in terms of fee structure. 

The points below give a brief level of comparison between several factors related to the institutes.

• IIIT Naya Raipur and IIIT Guwahati are two institutes with very close rankings. Even the students of both the institutes are close JEE rankers, with almost similar merit capacities. So, both are decent institutes.
• IIIT Guwahati is close to the railway station (just a km away), which adds a location advantage to the institute. But, IIIT Naya Raipur is very far from the Raipur station (almost 25 km away) and is situated in a somewhat isolated place. Therefore, IIIT Naya Raipur has some problems related to communication and transport.
• In IIIT Naya Raipur, there is an extra fee waiver for a certain percentage over consecutive years. There are a 100% tuition fee waiver for all students in the first year, 50% students in the second year, 33% students in the third year, and 25% students in the fourth year. So, IIIT Naya Raipur defeats IIIT Guwahati by a great margin in terms of the fee structure.
• The faculty of IIIT Guwahati is slightly more advanced than those in IIIT Naya Raipur, but both are decent in respect of teaching and curriculum.

IIIT Guwahati and IIIT Naya Raipur both have beautiful campuses. Therefore, both the institutes are worth choosing, having their own set of advantages and disadvantages.
