Is it worth doing an M.Tech from DTU?

DTU offers a decent M.Tech program both in terms of academics and placements, so pursuing it or not depends on the student.

According to the NIRF Rankings, DTU ranks 34 among the top technological institutes of the country. The institute offers more than 25 M.Tech courses and the course fee for M.Tech programs is 1.66 lakh per year.

DTU holds an impressive placement record. According to the placement highlights of 2020, a total of 119 M.Tech students got placement offers during the placement drive. Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering were the branches that had the most number of placements offered. The department of Information Technology received the highest CTC, i.e, 18.5 LPA. Also, a total of 30 students got internship offers. Many big corporations visit the campus like Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, etc.
