IIIT Bhopal is better for CSE. It is recognized on a national level. A B.Tech degree from the institute will have better recognition in the industry. It has a brilliant faculty base. IIIT Bhopal is mentored by MANIT. Faculties from MANIT visit the campus for guest lectures.

The institute has a good placement record. IIIT Bhopal placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 14.03 LPA. Around 90% of students got placed this year through campus placements.

My friends have been studying at both IIIT Bhopal and DAVV. According to their experience, IIIT Bhopal is way better than DAVV for CSE because of the following reasons:

  • IIIT Bhopal is a National Recognized Institute whereas IET-DAVV is a state-recognized institute.
  • In IET-DAVV you would get a B.E. Degree which is state-recognized and in IIIT Bhopal you would get a National Recognized B. Tech. Degree.
  • MANIT Bhopal is the Mentor of IIIT Bhopal so the professors of MANIT would be teaching you in IIIT Bhopal. So, the recruiters of MANIT would be visiting IIIT Bhopal also, ensuring you quite good placements.
  • IIIT has a brand name and has been doing quite well despite the temporary campus.

Particulars

IIIT Bhopal

IET DAVV

Total Fees

5.33 Lakhs

3.30 Lakhs

Average Package

8.65 LPA

4.5 LPA

JEE Advanced Cut off

21346

24944

However, both of these colleges serve quality education. The only thing which makes difference is the recognization and IIIT tag you’ll be getting at IIIT Bhopal. Also, if you have financial constraints, then IET-DAVV is the best choice for you. If not, then go for IIIT Bhopal without thinking.
