How is the electrical branch at BIT Sindri?

The electrical branch is one of the best branches offered at BIT Sindri. In fact, initially, when the college was set up, there were only two core branches i.e., Mechanical and Electrical. Therefore, the infrastructural setup was made by keeping in mind the requirement of core branches like Electrical Engineering. 

Highlights:

There are many reasons due to which Electrical branch is better in BIT Sindri. The reasons are as follows. 

• The college is equipped with well-structured machine labs which will help you in improving your practical skills. 
• Apart from Machine labs, there is also a Microprocessor lab. 
• The high voltage generator lab which is generally not found in the colleges is there in the BIT Sindri. Though it is not operational, you can get the measure of the machine. 
• The electrical distribution substation managed by the college is used for the training purposes of the students. 
• Many workshops are conducted timely, to keep the students active in extracurricular. 
• Considering the placement factors, many companies like Tata Steel, ADANI, DVC, Electro Steel visit the campus for recruitment purposes. 

Overall, the Electrical Branch of BIT Sindri is the best. But, it also depends on your seriousness towards studies. Nobody can spoon-feed you. So, if you choose the Electrical branch, make sure you study well to give a kickstart to your career.
