What is the best IIT in CS, Ahmedabad, or Bhubaneswar?

IIT Gandhinagar is ranked at 20th place in the engineering department by India Today in the year 2017. The qualification criteria for B.Tech course is 10+2 with 75% and a score in JEE Advance. The overall placement of the institute is 90%, and 100% in the computer science department which is far better than that of IIT Gandhinagar. The highest and average salary offered in 2019 was 39 lakh and 11.44 lakh p.a. respectively. The students are exposed to application-oriented and fundamental research activities at different stages of their studies at IIT Bhubaneswar.

Drawing a conclusion, IIT Bhubaneswar is better when compared to IIT Gandhinagar, as it has a better placement record and it is ranked in the top 10 institutes in the engineering department by India Today. IIT Bhubaneswar has tuition fees around 2 lakhs p.a. whereas at IIT Gandhinagar the students will have to pay a tuition fee of 2,60,000 p.a.
