Yes, IP university in Delhi is better than Amity University, Noida. It is a Govt. university and has lesser fees. IP university is more recognized and has a better brand value. Compared to Amity University Noida, it has a better peer group as well. 

The university has a good placement record. IP University placements 2021 had an average CTC of around INR 8.5 LPA and the highest CTC of INR 32 LPA.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), also known as IPU, is recognized as a State University, based in Delhi. There are 118 colleges affiliated with the university providing UG, PG, Ph.D., and diploma programs among various fields. In 2019, the college was ranked 95 among top colleges in India in NIRF Rankings.

Now talking about Amity Noida, it offers various UG, PG and PhD programs, including BA, BBA, BTech, BCom, BArch, MTech, MBA, LLM, MSW, and BHM among others. It has campuses across 11 Indian cities and is ranked 41 for MBA by NIRF in 2020. It also offers a wide variety of courses in all fields, including UG, PG, Ph.D., and diploma programs.

Now let’s compare both the colleges on their placement records. IPU maintains a 70-80% placement rate per batch and the average salary offered is around ?3 lakhs per annum. The major companies visiting the college for conducting placement drives are Flipkart, TCS, IBM, Adobe, Amazon, etc. As per the latest information available, the highest salary offered was 8LPA, the lowest salary was 2LPA and the median salary was 3LPA.

Amity Noida maintained a placement rate of around 70% last year and the major companies visiting the college are Microsoft, Samsung, Hyundai, IBM, Yamaha, Hindustan Times, Nestle, etc. The average package offered for UG students was 3.5LPA and 4.5LPA for PG students.

Here we are talking about comparing two different types of institutes, with IPU being a state-run institution and Amity being a privately run institute. Therefore, IPU offers a government certification which is advantageous in certain circumstances while Amity offers a far better infrastructure and a vast syllabus offering deeper learning into the field. So, there are pros and cons to both types of institutes, it depends on your personal preference now, as to which organization suits your need the best.
