How is IIT Palakkad compared to IIT Indore?

IIT Indore, established in 2009, is ranked 10th by NIRF in the engineering category. While IIT Tirupati and IIT Palakkad were recently established and haven't been ranked yet by NIRF.

Placement

The first batch of both IIT Palakkad and Tirupati graduated in 2019, hence detailed placement data is not available. While at IIT Indore average placement rate has been over 90%.

Campus

• IIT Tirupati and Palakkad- Both these campuses are under construction as of now and students have to stay in a transit campus. Hence, all facilities cannot be availed yet.
• IIT Indore- Spread across 501 acres, has state-of-the-art infrastructure and well equipped labs. It is in collaborations with over 10 International universities and students get a chance to work on significant research projects.

It is difficult to declare a college better than the other as all follow almost similar curriculum and the IITs are reputed for the highly distinguished faculty contingency. It is up to the individual to select a given course in a particular college and excel in that field of study.
