The table given below briefly compares the colleges

  • Average CTC was 16 LPA

IIT Tirupati

It is relatively new, hence much detailed placement data is not yet available. Major recruiters are Envestnet Yodlee, Bosch, TCS, Honeywell, etc.

Campus

  • IIT Tirupati- The permanent campus, proposed to be spread across 530 acres, is under construction as of now and students have to stay in a transit campus.
  • IIIT Bangalore- It has tie-ups with organizations like EMC, Intel,Siemens which organise various training sessions and bootcamps round the year, also providing software and hardware facilities for the institute. Student exchange programme for 2-4 weeks in collaboration with universities in Sweden, Germany and France.

Both IIITs and IITs have a brand value but Tirupati being a new institute, is yet to make its mark. Faculties at both the colleges are highly qualified. IIIT Bangalore being a relatively older institution has more reputation and better results at present. Although, if one works hard, he/she can excel in any field.
