IIT Roorkee is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering institutes in India and is often ranked among the top IITs shown by its constant NIRF rankings. It is known for its robust curriculum offered across various disciplines. The institute is also known for its modern infrastructure, research facilities and libraries. The UG students count reached 5257 with the total student count being 9735 in the academic year of 2022-23.
