The PhD admission process at IIT Kharagpur for the Autumn Semester 2024-2025 involves eligibility criteria, filling application form followed by exams.

 If want to know more about this in details the you can follow the following steps:

  1. Eligibility Criteria:
    • Candidates must carefully read the eligibility criteria available in the Information Brochure before applying.
    • Reserved-category candidates will be admitted as per the Government of India notification.
  2. Online Application:
    • Online applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in various disciplines, including Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture & Regional Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences, Rural Development, Law, Management, and Medicine.
    • Applicants should apply through the online application form on the official website.
    • Application fee (non-refundable) is ?1000 for Unreserved/OBC/EWS/Transgender candidates and ?500 for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates.
  3. Application Process:
    • Visit the official website at iitkgp.ac.in.
    • Click on the link titled “PhD Admissions - Autumn Semester 2024-25.”
    • Download any necessary certificates from the PhD admissions page
