What is IIT Kanpur placements percentage?

IIT Kanpur attracts many recruiters from different industries every year for its campus drive. It boasts a stellar placement record with most of the students securing jobs before the completion of their degree. Companies from various sectors visit the campus to recruit students for various roles. 

Phase I of 2024 placements concluded with 989 offers with 22 international offers. The average stood at INR 26.27 LPA. A total of 428 students have secured positions through the campus drive. In 2023, the highest package stood at INR 1.9 CPA with 1200 recorded offers. A growth of 58% was recorded in 2023 in the domestic package. MBA average package also saw an increase of 9%.

More than 90% of students in 2024 have secured positions with the highest package standing at INR 1.37 CPA. Samsung, Qualcomm, ICICI Bank, Texas Instruments and Goldman are some of the top recruiters at 2024 placements.
