Applying for a PhD at VJTI is pretty simple. The institute has the right to decide the total number of available seats for PhD and that will determine which qualified students are contacted for interviews by the institute.
Candidates who have completed a master’s or equivalent from an Indian or foreign institute are eligible for the program.
Candidates with a UGCNET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED score are more preferred than others.
PhD notifications are regularly updated on their website.
Some candidates are admitted through an entrance test conducted by the institute. Candidates who qualify for UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET ISLET/GATE /INSPIRE / PET(By Maharashtra Public Universities) and any other JRF holder of the apex bodies like CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR/ DBT/ DST/ ICSSR are exempted for the entrance exam.
