Can I sit for another placement with a higher package after securing a 10 LPA offer? Will the SCMHRD permit it, and why?

If a student got a placement of 10 LPA then he is not allowed to sit for a company offering a package of 30 LPA. The policy of SIU is that once the student gets placed he is not allowed to sit further for placement. This policy ensures equal opportunities for every student and reduces the chances of unfair competition, thereby increasing the chances of every student getting placed.
