How is cse in MANIT Bhopal?

1. MANIT CSE has the same placement records as CSE at top NITs and IITs. Try to make the most out of the opportunities provided to you.
2. The seniors at the CSE department are very helpful.
3. An important tip for you is to not indulge in any kind of quarrel with the locals. They do not allow the MANIT students to roam around or perform any kind of mischief outside of the college campus.
4. The campus is quite huge, and cycling is the best way to move back and forth between the hostel and the classrooms.
5. The CSE professors impart useful knowledge, so attend their classes regularly .
6. In order to ace the placements, start competitive programming from semester 2 itself. 

Make the most of your stay at MANIT Bhopal and study hard from the first year itself. If you do this, you’ll find CSE at MANIT to be quite good.

Here are some facts about B.Tech CS at MANIT Bhopal-

1. As a CSE student, you’ll face a lot of problems in the hostels as the internet connection is capped and throttled over there.
2. The B.Tech CS curriculum consists of RAW Computing topics like Theory of Computation, Compiler Design, AI, etc. Soft Skills like Algorithms, Coding, Testing, etc. aren’t taught as much. So, you’ll have to learn them on their own.
3. Some professors are highly experienced and knowledgeable. But to score pointers, you’ll have to mostly rely on online sources like youtube videos.
4. Instead of CS subjects, you’ll be taught off topics during the first and second semesters. C Programming and Communication Skills are the only useful topics that you’ll learn in your first year.
5. Placements are quite high for B.Tech CS in MANIT, with 100% placement rate, and an average package of around 12.5 LPA.
6. You’ll get ample time to prepare for competitive exams. Your attendance issue will be solved if you discuss your time crunch with your respective teacher.
7. Bikes are allowed on campus, and you can easily buy a second hand bike in Bhopal.
8. These days, ragging is almost nil on campus. So the incidents of ragging are now old and irrelevant.
