The department faculty is made up of experienced professors who take up courses like Digital Logic Design, Microprocessors and Interfacing, Analog and Digital Communication, Electro-magnetic Fields, etc.
As for the placements, very few students are selected for core jobs. C-DOT and Rambus are among the few core companies that recruit from VNIT. Mostly software, analytics, finance and consultancy firms visit for placements.
Some students opt for an MS in the USA, while others crack GATE with excellent ranks and go on to work in the hardcore VLSI tech field. Some even make it to the top IIMs by cracking CAT.
Overall, the VNIT grads of B.Tech ECE are a mixture of skilled techies and talented MBAs.
