How is student life at VNIT Nagpur?

The student life at VNIT Nagpur is decent.

However, sometimes the internet facilities on campus do not work properly. This is quite troubling. 

The mess food is good. Apart from that, the college playground is also good. The playground is filled with students in the evening. Almost everyone in the hostel sleeps late at night. On weekends, an all-nighter is quite common. 

The student life at VNIT is good. I’ve already mentioned the annoying aspects, as well as some things that are good about this college.

As an alumnus of VNIT Nagpur, I will share my experiences at my alma mater. 

Student life at VNIT is filled with fun, studies, mass bunks and lots of exams. As a fresher, one lives in a four seater room with three other people. Sharing a room with strangers can be difficult at first, especially when they are from a different cultural setup. But as time passes by, these very strangers become a family to us. With time, a bond starts to develop with one’s seniors. Freshers’ is like a golden opportunity to develop a good connection with seniors. 

The tech fest ‘AXIS’ is awaited by everyone. It is followed by sessional exams. This is the time for sleepless nights, and gathering study material from toppers. After the exams, everyone enjoys their weekend near Ambazari or at Futala. 

Hostel and classrooms are changed after the first year. From second year onwards, one has to study our respective coursework, depending upon one’s branch. From then onwards, life mainly revolves around classrooms, labs, future goals, and placements. 

VNIT Nagpur is a complete journey from an immature fresher to a mature engineer. This college offers lots of opportunities and unbreakable friendships.
