NIT Silchar has an active and growing coding culture and has a 24*7 coding club on campus. The major focus is on the working of real-time applications, which include apps for elections, police departments, forestry, and so on. Students also get the opportunity to attend ACM ICPC regionals as well as major coding competitions.

The coding club has its own wiki, GitHub account, hall of fame, developer of the month, association with Hacker Rank, and an active group to resolve queries.

So, if you are highly passionate about coding, NIT Silchar is the best place for you.
