Which college has a better brand and great reputation in India as well as abroad: NIT, Delhi University, BITS Pilani or IIIT?

The brand value of a college has two aspects, its national and international reputation. So, I will be covering both aspects to give you a proper insight into the brand name of NIT Delhi:

Nationally 

• BITS is way ahead of other aforementioned colleges. IIIT and DU are also considered decent options. As far as NITs are concerned, only the top NITs like NIT Trichy or Surathkal are comparable to IITs, whereas NIT Mizoram or Srinagar, are not.
• In terms of brand value, IITs, BITS and the top NITs have a similar brand value. DU is well-known for its Humanities courses and IIIT for its CS course.

Internationally

• Sadly, no Indian University features in the top 200 in World University Rankings. However, some countries do recognize degrees from IITs and BITS and many well-known alumni can be found in these universities. BITS is particularly famous for its strong alumni network across the globe.

• NITs, DU or IIIT have almost zero recognition globally.

Ultimately, the brand name and reputation do not matter and it’s your efforts that count.
