Should IIIT Bangalore be preferred over NITs?

Whether IIIT Bangalore should be preferred over NITs depends on many aspects like which NITs you are referring to and the course you are targeting. Students get placed excellently as long as you have a certain lower cut off. By the end of the course, everyone gets placed decently and there are many big firms that visit for placements. Even if you are from a non-coding background, the college will guide you in every step. 

However, you will have to consider other options if you are looking for a BTech course. Coming to your question, IIIT Bangalore can be compared to the top 3 NITs for M.Tech in CS/IT courses only. So, choose IIIT Bangalore if you are getting lower NITs.
