• To make connections: It is better if students take part in cultural activities and summits to increase their contacts. Students should join their club of choice, as MIT has numerous clubs to choose from. • Students in IT/CSE departments are advised to practice programming from the first year itself since the upcoming years get a lot tougher, especially if they do not come from a computer background.

Although college students are expected to bunk lessons, one must make sure not to bunk too many lessons as it pulls students further away from getting good academic scores. Only focusing on activities will result in having low scores, and even backlogs will leave a stain on one’s academic pursuit.
