RGPV grading system 2023 is a credit-based grading system under which candidates' marks are calculated based on the percentage they secured in their exams.
For instance, if you score between 91-100 percent you will be given a grade point of 10 with an A+ grade. The same scale is used while calculating both theoretical and practical grades. The total marks for each subject are 100. The grading scale followed by RGPV has been mentioned below

Students are graded on the basis of their performance on various tests, homework assignments, quizzes, lab assignments, internship assignments, class assignments, midterm exams, and regular attendance.
You only need to look for the scheme of marks in RGPV to find out the total marks for the semester in the grading system. It uses the SGPA and CGPA systems on a scale of 10.
RGPV only administers a 70-point theory exam per subject. Internal marks include practical marks, vivas, midterms, and so on. Each semester is worth 800 points, with 100 points assigned to each subject. On the back of your semester mark sheets, you will find instructions for converting your CGPA to marks. According to university regulations, you can calculate your marks by multiplying your CGPA by 100. Similarly, you can calculate your percentage by multiplying 10 by your CGPA.
