Are mobile phones allowed at Banasthali University?

Yes, Banasthali University allows the usage of mobile phones on campus. There is no ban against it. However, students aren’t supposed to use their mobiles during lectures or other academic activities. Professors or teaching staff may confiscate your phone if you are caught using it while in classes. So, don’t use your phone during lectures.

Yes, mobile phones are allowed in Banasthali University as the ban was uplifted in 2015. However, you cannot use them in Departmental buildings or sports grounds.

If you are new to the Banathali campus, my advice is to simply observe and respect all of the rules and regulations. You will eventually get a hang of the atmosphere and be able to enjoy your stay at the university. 

Do not worry a lot as mobile phone is not the only option available in hostels to communicate with family and friends. Each hostel room has good internet connectivity, in addition, to 2 landline connections for incoming calls only.
