Which is better, KIET or NIET?

Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology(KIET) and Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology are good private engineering colleges after IITs and NITs. Both the colleges are affiliated to AKTU. NIET is spread across 13.09 acres whereas KIET has 17 acres of the campus area. NIRF ranking (Engineering colleges) for KIET is between 151-200 and NIET ranking is between the 201-250th band.

Admission:

• The entrance exam accepted in both institutes remains the same, which is the UPSEE exam conducted by AKTU)

• Candidates need to make a choice for their own college, whether it is KIET or NIET.

• The eligibility criteria for BTech is 45% marks in the 12th and UPSEE score. For MBA, one must have done graduation with 50% with a score in CMAT. C

• The total number of seats in BTech for NIET is 1400 and for KIET is 1380.

Both private colleges are good at providing placement. KIET has industry collaboration with CISCO, and Microsoft IT Academy, whereas NIET has international collaboration with industries like Broadband, Texas-based knowledge solutions, EMC, and many more.
