VBSPU eligibility criteria vary depending on the course. 

  • For UG courses such as B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Pharm, etc. students need to clear the 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks from a recognized board.
  • For lateral entry into B.Pharm program of VBSPU, students need to complete D.Pharm with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • For PG courses, the eligibility criteria are graduation from a recognized university.
  • Students with valid PG degrees are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. courses.

Veer Bahadur Purvanchal University offers a number of courses for both Undergraduates and Postgraduates. The undergraduate programs are branched into Business Studies, Medicine, Law, Engineering, and Technology.

  • The faculty of Business Studies B. Com (Hons) requires necessary passing of the secondary examination with commerce or economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study.
  • For B.Pharm the eligibility is as per UPSEE.
  • The faculty of Law (B.A. L.L.B) (Hons.) is a five-year integrated course. Admission is based on an intermediate or equivalent exam.
  • The faculty of Engineering & Technology includes B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering. The eligibility of the course depends on the UPSEE of the current year.

The post-graduate programs are branched into Business Administration, Humanities, and Science.

  • The postgraduate programs include MBA in E-Commerce, Business Control, Finance & Control, Human Resource & Development, social science & Humanities, Science. The eligibility requirement is a minimum of 45% marks to graduate in any discipline for Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes and more than 50 % for general caste. 
  • Required eligibility for Masters in Applied Psychology and Masters in Mass Communication is graduation.
  • You need to have a B.Sc degree in order to pursue Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Environment Science.
