How is IIM Sirmaur?

A friend of mine studied at IIM Sirmaur. Here is his review of the institute. 

Campus:

• The campus has been built in the laps of the mountains. It is one of the most aesthetic campuses in India. 
• The institute campus has 2 hostels well equipped with all necessities and the maintenance staff. The campus and the hostel both are large enough with exceptional views. 
• The hostels have separate common rooms which are equipped with a TV, fridge and a lot of bean bag chairs.
• In the hostel, facilities such as washing machines, geysers, microwaves are provided. 
• The campus is fully equipped for sports such as Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Football, and Cricket. 

Culture: The peer group at IIM Sirmaur is great. The average CAT percentile here goes up to 99.5 percentile. There are lots of events, cultural fests being held at the institute. Both inter and intra level competitions shape you to be the better version of yourself and also make you corporate-world ready.

Placements and Internships: 

Leading brands of India and the world visit the campus for recruiting students. International programs have enabled students to get better placements outside the country. They are taught well how to work according to the norms of the respective company. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 9 LPA.

Student Exchange Program: 

IIM Sirmaur has overseas tie-ups with different institutes. The latest international immersion program was completed at SDA Bocconi in Milan Italy. These provide students with tons of opportunities and also give an international perspective.

Overall, IIM Sirmaur is a great option for doing your management degree.
