• Sanskriti is the annual fest of the university. It lasts for a week for the engineering students. 
• When the arts, management, and science fields are combined, the fests stretch till two weeks.
• The fest acts as the launchpad for budding talents by providing them a platform and audience. 
• Many well-known Bengali bands and musicians have given credits to Sanskriti as it helped them gain recognition. Some of these are Raghu Dixit Project, Advaita, and more.
• Jadavpur University, unlike other institutes, does not feature any famous bands or Bollywood singers. It features quality independent performers.
