The cutoff marks required to get CSE at NIT Trichy through JEE Mains can vary from year to year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of applicants, and availability of seats.

However, to give you an idea, here are the JEE Mains cutoff marks for CSE at NIT Trichy for the academic year 2021:

  • General Category: 97.23 percentile
  • OBC-NCL Category: 89.75 percentile
  • SC Category: 67.62 percentile
  • ST Category: 54.01 percentile

Please note that these are just cutoff marks from the previous year and may not be indicative of the cutoff for the current year. Additionally, cutoff marks may vary for each category, so it is important to check the official website of the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) for the latest information.

One of my friends studied at NIT Trichy. According to him, it is one of the best NITs in terms of placement, faculty, and infrastructure. It always gets the top three positions on the ranking website.

  • The cut-off for NIT Trichy is under 6000 for OS of any branch.
  • If you consider this, you just have to score approximately 250+ marks for getting at least the chemical branch at NIT Trichy.
  • For home state rank in general category first– a rank of 4900.
  • If you belong to any other state and are from the general category, your rank must be around 2100. For OBC, SC, and ST, it differs.

Thus, this is how much is required by a student in JEE Mains to get CSE at NIT Trichy. It is not an impossible score, if you work hard for the exam.
