How does the huge batch size affect placements in IIM Indore?
The huge batch size does not negatively affect placements at IIM Indore. IIM Indore is a well-known management institution in India that proves its worth each year through an excellent placement record.
IIM Indore Final Placements
- During the 2023 placements, IIM Indore recorded an excellent 132.6% increase in its Highest Package and a 20.8% increase in its Average Package.
- The Highest Package stood at INR 1.14 CPA and the Average Package stood at INR 30.21 LPA. The Median Package stood at INR 27.2 LPA. Amazon, BCG, Cipla were among the top recruiters.
- IIM Indore achieved a 100% placement for 2023 batch. 160 companies made offers to a large batch of 568 IPM and PGP students.
IIM Indore Summer Internship
- Summer Internship Placements saw participation from a total of 140 firms and 606 students.
- The Highest Stipend saw an increase of 50% and the Average Stipend increased by 37%.
- The Highest Stipend stood at INR 6 Lakhs and the Average Stipend stood at 2.74 Lakhs.
- Students were offered maximum internships in the Consulting Sector- 25%. Adani Group, Amway, and Apollo Tyres, among others participated in recruiting interns.
It is safe to say that not only is IIM Indore maintaining an excellent placement record, it has in fact seen a positive growth in the salary figures offered to the students.

According to some of my friends studying at IIM Indore, it is renowned for its management studies. It is ranked seventh in the NIRF Ranking for Management 2020.

- The huge batch of IIM Indore does not affect the placements of the students.
- In 2020, the placement season hit the milestone for IIM Indore for the 21st outgoing PGP batch.
- It included 431 from PGP, 91 from IPM, and 56 PGPMX students.
- Despite the chaos due to the pandemic, many new recruits visited the campus like Browerstack, CloudTail, FIITJEE, AB InBev, Bytedance, etc.

The top recruiters were Flipkart, HDFC, BCG, JP Morgan & Chase, Axis Bank, P&G, ICICI, Bank of America, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Royal Bank of Scotland, and more. Overall, IIM Indore maintains its quality even with big batch size.
