Which one is a better B-school? IFMR Chennai or IMT Hyderabad?

Out of these two, IFMR Chennai is better. It is especially good for Finance specialization. BFSI, IT, and Consulting are the major sectors recruiting through the campus drive. During IFMR Chennai placement 2022, students received the highest CTC of INR 18 LPA. Deloitte, KPMG, PwC are some of the top recruiters for the institute.

Among these two institutes, IFMR Chennai is the better option. It is especially reputed for Financial and Data Science specialization.

IFMR Chennai Placements - Around 98% of students from the 2021 batch were placed. The average CTC offered was INR 10 LPA. For the top 10% of the students, the average was around INR 14 LPA.
The campus is located in SriCity. It is a special economic zone. IFMR campus is surrounded by companies like Kellogs, PepsiCo, Mondelez International, etc.
The cultural diversity on campus works as an advantage for students. There is a huge scope of peer learning.

Other than academics, IFMR has a lot of clubs and committees which organize various events regularly. IFMR Chennai is the better option as compared to IMT Hyderabad, in terms of placement and opportunities offered.
