Studied at Integrated Programme in Management, IIM Indore

This is not an appropriate question for a course that began only a few years ago. This course has the potential to develop youngsters from all over the world, and the one in Indore has ensured that.

However, this course gives students the opportunity to venture into new directions in unfamiliar territory, which will only benefit future generations of students. So, instead of being concerned about this program in Rohtak, one should wait for at least 3-4 batches to graduate.

Studied at Integrated Programme in Management, IIM Indore (2019)

The Integrated Program in Management (IPM) was started only a few years back and the first batch will pass out only in 2024. So it is really not fair to discuss it currently. Let 2-3 batches pass before forming an opinion. But then there are many students who have joined the first few batches and here are their opinions.

  • Many students were unhappy that they could not crack the IPM course of IIM Indore and thus were settled for IIM Rohtak.
  • The fee is also considered higher for the facilities being provided.
  • 2019 was the very first batch of the IPM course at IIM Rohtak. So getting guidance from seniors is basically non-existent.
  • If you think you should take help from your IPM friends or seniors at IIM Indore that is also not possible as both the institutes have very different course curriculum.
  • Lastly, the first batch of IPM is yet to pass out. So the degree does not have any placement record. Though this may not be a point of regret, this is definitely a point of low motivation among the students.

As you can see most of the worries are related to the fact that it is a new course. So it is advisable to wait for some batches to pass out before being too apprehensive about the course.
