For Computer Science and IT departments, the placement statistics of CUSAT are above average. Many reputed companies visit the college campus for recruitment purposes.

College authorities offer the option of pool recruitment drives in other colleges to the students.
Major Companies which recruit from this institution almost every year include Amazon, Sap Labs, Huawei, Verizon, Oracle, ShoreTel, IBM, Tavant, CGI, TCS, and many more.
These companies recruit students majorly from the CS, IT, ECE, and EEE departments.
My friend was able to grab a job role at IBM in 2019 after graduating from this institution.
For the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Companies like L&T, Godrej, and JK Tyres recruit students from this College.
But for the department of Civil Engineering, the situation of placements is not good as a small number of companies visit the campus for recruitment.

CUSAT has had a great past with Tech Giants like Microsoft and Google which used to visit the college campus regularly for recruitments. But that glory is now a matter of the past but I do hope that the efforts of the placement cells would improve the situation.
