XLRI is an elite B School that not only offers a plethora of management programs but also a wide range of executive education courses. Owing to its serene location in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, XLRI Jamshedpur has a rather lively and mixed community of peers, faculty, pool, and staff.

The course curriculum is taught through a practical approach and is quite rigorous. The Pedagogy involves experiential learning, a Case-based approach, and real-life examples. Life at XLRI campus is pretty good.

  • It has a brilliant faculty pool. You might have to fight to get some electives offered by a few professors. The in-lecture cases can be a bit outdated at times but they provide relevant learning.
  • The infrastructure of the institute is pretty good. There are several sports facilities inside the campus. The senior and junior hostels are located on the opposite side of the campus. This keeps the two batches kind of separated.
  • XLRI placement doesn’t need much discussion. Most people join the institute because of its amazing placement record. The 2022 batch got an average CTC of INR 30.73 LPA.
  • Different committees organize several on-campus events throughout the year.
  • The campus isn’t too big in size. Some of the areas of the campus are pretty well-maintained. You will love taking casual strolls through the campus.
  • You will get to meet talented peers on campus and learn from them.

XLRI doesn’t impose any kind of lifestyle on students. If you want to earn extra credits and participate in case competitions, you will get many such chances. If you want to relax and hang out with friends, you are free to do that.

  • The batch size for PGDM HR and BM is 180 each. Apart from regular classes, there are fun activities like quiz leagues, debates, case-based competitions, Ad making, and others.
  • The faculty is also outstanding.
  • The institute offers all amenities to the students with hostels, lecture halls, a library, wi-fi, a Bloomberg terminal, and all others.
