Chandigarh University is better in all aspects than SVC in Agriculture. University Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Chandigarh University (CU), Punjab is the head organization of horticultural instruction and research in Punjab and North India.
Few highlights of UIAS Department are given below.
Here are some of the things that make Chandigarh University the best institute for Agriculture.
The institute puts great efforts to place their students. Placement can be assured only with the cooperation of the students. The institute also organizes various trips and programs like RAWE which is a prerequisite for placements.
Chandigarh University (CU), the youngest university to be ranked by NIRF. It is placed at 84th in the NIRF ranking of 2020 for engineering institutes. The university has also got NAAC A+ accreditation, which gives it international recognition.
Studying at CU as one of its students has its own perks and benefits. Students and teachers from not only CU but other universities also know the value of a CU degree in your resume.

Without a doubt, CU is far better than UIET KUK for the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course. The brand name of CU is enough to add feathers to your resume. The best part about CU is that it is an entirely student-oriented university.
A few perks of CU which gives it an upper hand over UIET KUK are listed below:
The Mechanical Engineering (ME) from CU is the most promising program to take. However, a disadvantage of CU is the fee structure. The fees for the BE in Mechanical Engineering is Rs.6.4 Lakh and the fees for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in UIET KUK is Rs. 4.2 Lakh. The quality of education is unbeatable in CU. They provide a better engineering education than UIET KUK.
Chandigarh University (CU) is better than Sharda University for rotating students. The college life at Chandigarh University is blissful. Studying here has opened several avenues for my career. Due to its immense popularity among students and professionals alike, reputed companies and institutions collaborate with CU.
The faculty at CU are also friendly and supportive towards their students, encouraging them to do better in their career.
The infrastructure of CU is better than that of Sharda University. They are well equipped with a canteen, stationery shops, tuck shops in hostels, laundry, parlour, gym, etc. The campus has food joints like Samosa Express, Subway, Maggi Hotspot, Food Republic, etc.

For students willing to study agriculture, Chandigarh University is an appropriate institution, as it is located in Gharuan village. They are quite strict regarding submission of assignments and practicals. A 75% attendance is mandatory for students.
The placements offered by CU are outstanding. Students opting for government jobs will receive better opportunities. Students get a global exposure for their international tie-ups. They conduct workshops and seminars for hands-on-industry experience for the students educational development.
The right choice between the given institutions will be completely dependent upon what your expectations are from a college is. It completely depends on you to frame the ideal requirements you would want to have from your choice of academic institution. A friend suggested Chandigarh University guaranteeing fulfilment of certain expectations of mine:
Apart from offering a flexible academic model, the institute also offers extensive farmland and operational research management systems. It also has a core focus on building technical skills in order to help students with practical exposure.

PEC is the ideal and obvious choice than Chandigarh University for pursuing CSE. PEC provides highly qualified faculties with excellent placements. It is also a 100 years old college with a strong alumni base and provides top-notch cultures.
CGC Landran is an older college with a better reputation than Chandigarh University simply because more people are aware of it. Whereas Chandigarh University is a newer institution with the same owner.
However, there are some significant differences between CGC Landran and Chandigarh University -
CGC Landran is a college affiliated with another university. This means that your DMCs, degree and other formalities will take some time. Whereas Chandigarh University is a deemed university, you can get all of these documents quickly.
Because Chandigarh University is a university, they have the freedom to change its syllabus and rotate its subjects in response to industry demands, which CGC Landran does not have.
Placements at CGC Landran and Chandigarh University are all the same because they all take place at the same time.
Chandigarh University has a growing campus with 1 or 2 buildings being built every 6 months, whereas CGC Landran is a fully constructed campus. CU is also very developed now, with over 15 food joints and cafeterias, which is fantastic. You can decide for yourself by visiting both campuses.
Teachers at CU are much better than teachers at CGC Landran because they are paid more. Because a university pays its teachers more than a college. And it goes without saying that the more you pay, the more you get.
CGC is the location. Landran is in a small city near Chandigarh, and buses to Rajpura, Patiala, Sirhind, and Kharar are not readily available due to the longer time intervals between them. CU, on the other hand, is directly on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana national highway, with a bus leaving every 10 minutes for either Chandigarh or Ludhiana. For Patiala students, CU is closer to Patiala than CGC, even though CGC is closer in distance.
Overall, they are similar institutions, but the distinction between a college and a university cannot be overlooked. If you can, go for CGC; if you can't, CU is the better option.
For CSE, Chandigarh University will be the better option. After taking admission to a university or college every student expects technical education and grooming that will help him/her secure a good job. The faculty of Chandigarh University works hard to deliver the same.
The table below will give an overview of the CSE program at Chandigarh University and IT at UIET.
