I am selected in bimtech for pgdm-ibm. Should I go for it?

How restricted/conservative is life at BIMTECH Noida?
BIMTECH is one the famous Business schools in our country and offers hostel facilities for both male and female students.
Entry Timings:
For female students:
The female students of both 1st year and 2nd year live at the hostel and are required to enter the hostel by 7:30 PM during summer season and by 6:30 PM during winter season. If in some situation, they get late then they have to write an email to the hostel warden describing their reason for being late and take permission.
For male students:
The entry timing for male students at hostel is 9 PM because their hostel is around 1.5 km away from the college. It can take some more time to reach the hostel. However, if they get late in any case, they too have to write an email to their hostel warden describing the reason and take permission.
Smoking and Alcohol:
Smoking and consumption of alcohol are prohibited inside the campus and if someone is found in any of these situations then he/she will have to pay a fine to the college. They also might need to vacate the hostel.
Attendance:
All the students are required to maintain an attendance of 60%. If someone's attendance is below the required percentage then he/she may not be able to sit in exams.
Apparel:
All the students are required to be well dressed and wear decent clothes to the premises and avoid wearing shorts. This rule is in place because many faculties live on campus.
Professors:
The professors here are very friendly. If students have any doubts or want to talk about something they can easily get to the professors and have a conversation.

Which one should I go for, IBS Mumbai or BIMTECH, Noida?
Having friends at BIMTECH, I suggest you go for it. It is a better choice than IBS Mumbai. If you are in the 70-90 percentile range, then BIMTECH is actually a very good option for you. Here are some of the reasons as to why –
- It is really good at BIMTECH with a good mix of professors. The visiting faculty are also very good.
- The library has lots of good books and journals to follow and is one of the best things about the institute.
- It focuses a lot on case studies which really enhances the classroom experience.
- A lot of presentations are also expected from students which will make you overcome your stage fright.
- Hostels are decent with good quality food in the mess.
- The college holds a strong brand and reputation among students which attracts a diverse set of students from all across the country.

The only drawback for BIMTECH Noida would be its higher fee structure as well as its high fee for the hostels which are also mandatory. Apart from that, there is nothing in which IBS Mumbai actually gets an advantage over BIMTECH Noida. Thus undoubtedly, BIMTECH Noida should be your preferred choice between the two.
Which college is better, BITM Pune or BIMTECH PGDM in IBM?
BIMTECH PGDM in IBM is better. It offers excellent academics and placements for IBM. Each year almost 100% of students get placed from the branch. The salary packages offer in BIMTECH placements are in the range of INR 6.18 LPA - 10 LPA. SBI General, Infosys, SUD Life, etc. are the major recruiters for the branch.

You should opt for Great Lakes Gurgaon, it is a better option. It offers better placements and brand value. Great Lakes placement 2022 had a 100% placement rate. The average CTC received by the students was INR 16 LPA. Big brands such as Accenture, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, etc. visit the campus placement of Great Lakes Gurgaon. The ROI offered by the institute is pretty good as well.
How is BIMTech (Birla Institute of Management) for doing a MBA?
