LNCT is one of the most prestigious private institutes in the country. LNCT is synonymous with quality because of its world-class facilities, excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, and extensive libraries, as well as its student-friendly campus.

• LNCT provides a diverse range of courses and is a pioneer in the pursuit of high-quality education.
• The faculties are well-experienced and cooperative. 
• The Training and Placement Cell, on the other hand, actively works with students and administrators to assist them in securing a position in any company of their choice.
• Companies such as WIPRO, Cognizant, Amdocs, Infosys, DXC, Accenture, TCS, and many others come to the institute on a regular basis to recruit qualified students from various branches. The average CTC offered by the institute ranges between 3-8 LPA. 

Overall, it is a nice institute. So if you are getting admission, just go for it.

If you are getting CS at LNCT Bhopal, then you should opt for it.

• The admission process in LNCT is not a cakewalk in comparison with Amity Gwalior. Amity Gwalior needs 60% aggregate for taking admission. Direct admission is also done at Amity Gwalior.
• However, in LNCT Bhopal, you will need to qualify for the qualifying exam and go through the online MP counseling process.
• In terms of campus, the campus of Amity is very good as compared to LNCT. If you want to go for any coaching then both of these colleges are a little far from the main city.
• In Amity, the teaching is good, the faculties are good. But the class timing and few subjects are often causing issues. The student crowd is mixed.
• In LNCT, the quality of education is great. You will be among talented peers. 
• In terms of placement, LNCT is better than Amity as it is an old and reputed institute. In 2020, the average CTC offered at LNCT was 3-8 LPA and the highest CTC offered was 27 LPA. 

So, if you have the option, go for LNCT.

For the CS or IT branches, LNCT Bhopal is a good option but not for any other branches.

• The students are placed with an average salary package of INR 3.5 to 5 LPA.
• If you want to learn something new. You can do it from anywhere. Currently, there are so many options available online and offline.
• You have to maintain 75 percent attendance. If you failed to do this then good sessional marks will not be given to you.

A special note, if you are having less percentage in the 10th, 12th, or college degree then you will not get placed in good company. Almost all the companies come with criteria.

Speaking of Computer Science, JSSATE Bangalore is the best option against LNCT Bhopal. The colleges in North India are certainly pretty decent colleges but if you wish to land a high placement package then go for JSSATE. 

The degree of freedom and the X-factor you experience in this institute is terrific. The faculties are highly qualified as well as very cooperative. Several esteemed companies visit the college for recruitment purposes every year.

Following are a few points as to why JSSATE would be a better option for college:

• It is located outside the main city and has a serene beauty and is in a peaceful area.
• It favors diversity in the campus and offers a great environment in the campus.
• During the placements, your proficiency in English would lead you through the obstacles, and this institute surely does help one in enhancing their English.
• The placement opportunities are tremendous, especially in the CSE and EC branches. Mind you, the semester exams here are not to be taken lightly and are set in a different pattern to the North India colleges.
• They have a decent infrastructure. The hostel, hostel food, and hygiene are all well maintained.

It would be a change you would embrace. Certainly, the best college for CS.

LNCT is one of the best private colleges in Madhya Pradesh yet, pursuing civil engineering is futile. Following are the reasons for the same: 

• The placement scenario for core branches is very bad. Hardly, any core company visits for recruitment. Even if they do, only 2-3 students are recruited. 
• You have to look for a job on your own. Not many opportunities are provided for civil engineering. 
• The department offers less practical knowledge and more theoretical knowledge.
• The faculty members are not good at the college and the labs are not fully equipped. 
• LNCT Bhopal has a rule for 75% attendance which will only waste your time. You won't be able to prepare for competitive exams like GATE till the 3rd year.
• Preparing for these exams will be very hectic. Less attendance means fewer sessional marks which will degrade your CGPA.

LNCT Bhopal is not a good option if you are looking for a career in engineering. You will have to manage your studies on your own. 

There is a committee for anti-ragging in Madhya Pradesh that take care of such things. If someone is found doing any such activity, they have to face strict punishment sometimes jail is also possible.

There are certain rules in university itself which have to followed by everyone regarding ragging:

• Seniors are not allowed in the freshers' area.
• Separate buses are provided for freshers and seniors.
• Seniors can contact the juniors during fresher’s party only. 
• A helpline number is given by MP government if you are facing any issue related to ragging
• In a private college concept of senior-junior will not work because each and everyone lives in the tension of placement or some government exam.

A piece of advice, maintain distance from your seniors for some initial days. You will be fine once you have contacted them frequently.

My cousin is currently studying in LNCT Bhopal and he stays in a PG too. If you are looking for some good stays nearby LNCT then you can go for the following localities that have good pgs.

• Anand Nagar
• Patel Nagar nearby Oriental,
• Piplani
• Ayodhya Bypass
• Indrapuri

Although it totally depends on your preferences, the best localities for joining some coaching or arts/theatre clubs are MP Nagar like Bharti Niketan, Gautam Nagar, and all the places nearby Chetak.

While if you are just a fresher in the college, it is highly recommended to go for hostels and enjoy the hostel life for at least one year. You will also get hostels in all these places mentioned above, as the LNCT campus hostels are full of restrictions such as in and out timings, bad mess food facilities, and no complaint board, etc.

CSE is the best branch in LNCT Bhopal in terms of placement. The top recruiters include Wipro, Mu Sigma, Aon Hewitt, Dell, IBM, Godrej, HP, Samsung, Oracle, and more. Unfortunately, there are no coding groups running in the college, and no such conversation is initiated among students. 

Even teachers do not show any interest in creating technical communities or putting effort into activities. For any club to exist, seniors need to take the initiative and allow the juniors to follow. This is not the case at LNCT Bhopal and students lack interest. 

Overall, there is no external learning in college apart from the core classroom lectures.
