Both colleges are quite good. My sister is currently pursuing her CSE from BIT Patna so here are some crucial insights you must have a look at.

• CSE at BIT Patna is quite impressive keeping in mind that the placement scenario in this college is better than most colleges of the same tier. Almost every student of BIT Patna gets a fair chance to seat in the placement of the Main campus, i.e. BIT Mesra Ranchi and many of them get placed too.
• The job profiles and packages are quite lucrative with an average package of around 6 lakh for CSE in BIT Patna.
• However, BIT Patna stands a little expensive as compared to LNCT Bhopal. It will cost around 12 lakhs to complete a 4-year degree. 

BIT Patna definitely stands as a better choice if placements are your goal and there are no financial constraints. Choose wisely as you would be dedicating your precious 4 years of your life that will decide your career.

Since one of my sisters is a part of LNCT Bhopal, it is best to limit the answer to discussing it. As per what she mentions, LNCT Bhopal is a promising institute when it comes down to departments like CSE, IT, or ECE. 

• The institute offers multiple opportunities to opt from a variety of software-based companies, such as Cognizant and Infosys for a quick instance.

It provides very disciplined conduct of college life. However, it is best that you compare the prospects of both institutes and make an informed decision afterward. 

The Training and Placement department of LNCT provides internship opportunities but the same cannot be said for the IT department, sadly.

However, if you are looking for internship opportunities, the institute may disappoint you. To get maximum exposure, you can try participating in extracurricular activities. The four-year BE course in CSE at LNCT Bhopal will cost about 3.40 lakhs excluding the fees for a hostel. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, CTS enjoy great offer packages that can go as high as 20 LPA.

In the case of SRM Chennai, CSE department has academic collaborations with international universities like Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburg, USA. The course fee at the university is 10 Lakhs. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Microsoft, etc often recruit students of SRM and a lot of them are enjoying success abroad.

The best option for you will be LNCT Bhopal as it offers a great ROI when placement packages are seen.

While a clear-cut answer to this question isn’t possible, here are some insights regarding ranks and admissions according to my friends who are currently studying there.

One of my friends is a final year student from LNCT pursuing B.Tech in IT. He secured a rank of 1,27,000 in 2017 but he wasn’t able to secure a seat in CSE Branch with that rank. Instead, he took a seat in IT in the 1st round itself. Yes, he didn’t wait for the 2nd or 3rd round. However, you can wait for at least the 3rd round to see if your chances increase for the CSE branch. 

Secondly, it also depends on your quota. Most of the time it is quite impossible to secure a seat with such a rank without any quota. My friend who belonged to the unreserved category couldn’t get in even EC with a rank of 69,000.

In recent years the required cutoff for CSE at LNCT Bhopal was 83761. 

At last, if you are looking forward to a bright future in CSE or IT, establish your skills in programming on your own. If you are dependent on your college for learning something such as programming, your chances of grabbing programming job profiles are less.

If you only have a choice for private colleges in Bhopal and are confused about which one to choose, I would recommend LNCT because it is the only college in Bhopal that provides good placement.

I have a few friends from LNCT and according to them, if you are well-acquainted with your program, you will be easily placed with a decent package. In 2020, the average CTC was in the range of 3-8 LPA while the highest CTC offered was 27 LPA. 

So, if placements are important to you, you should consider LNCT. The college is also strict and disciplined, and you are required to study at least a little bit there. I will recommend LNCT main campus.

Lakshmi Narain College of Technology is ranked at 39th position out of 191 colleges in India by The Week. Technocrats Institute of Technology has the 3rd position in Madhya Pradesh according to The Week. Oriental University is the 1st self-financed private university in Indore. Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) for its B Tech courses.

LNCT:

LNCT offers a BTech CSE program. The Computer Science Engineering department started with only 60 students.

• The department has over 10 computer laboratories with updated software and network connection.

• Travel grants and abroad studies funding is provided by the university for its students.

Placements:

TIT:

The department of Computer Science and Engineering provides both undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the students enrolled in the university.

• The department has exceptional computer connectivity with multimedia kits, advanced servers, and top-notch software systems.

• There are technical as well as nontechnical societies for students to join in at the university.

Placements:

• SAP Labs, Godrej, Indian Air, Zycus, Nestle India, Bosch, Honeywell, Time, Reliance Industries, etc are some profound companies visiting the TIT campus.

• The highest salary package is INR 24 LPA while the average is INR 3.25 LPA.

Oriental University:

The department provides B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma, and Ph.D. courses for the students in the field of engineering. The teaching process of the university includes visits to the library, communication lab as well as LCD projector lessons.

Placements:

• Mankind, Persistent Ltd., Satyam, Syntel, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Infosys, L T Finance, Lupin, Mahindra Group, etc are some of the many recruiters of the institute.

These colleges are well-known and have good faculty, education, and placement opportunities. Students can choose their preferred college according to the course they wish to pursue, depending on the availability of seats.

LNCT, Bhopal is ranked 30th among universities in India by Times 2020. Admissions for CSE are fully based on the JEE rank followed by counseling and personal interview. The institute also has an impressive placement rate.

Galgotias University is ranked 26th by Times, 2020. Admissions are based on the entrance test and the result of JEE followed by counseling and group discussion and interview.

• The infrastructure of the college is really good. The classrooms are spacious and there are well-equipped labs available to carry out academic work.

• The teachers are experienced in their particular field and very helpful.

Galgotias University:

• Infrastructure is equally good. All necessary facilities are available on campus.

• The faculty is cooperative and very helpful.

Overall LNCT, Bhopal, and Galgotias are equally good Institutes for CS. The placement rate of universities is almost 90%. Both Institutes have a very engaging and encouraging environment.
