Prioritise them as YouTube>Google>Shivani Publication

Search the topic first on YouTube. If proper information is available, start making easy and extensive notes. Pause your video or take screenshots in between to do this.

If you think the information on YouTube is not of good quality, switch to google. Search the topic and gather useful information related to your topic. Make important notes for the same.

Lastly, if your topic is not properly covered anywhere on the internet, then go for the reference book.

Follow the same procedure for all topics in every unit and you are good to go.
These tips will help you attain good marks but remember putting your own efforts is a must.
What is the value of an RGPV (MP) B.E. degree outside Madhya Pradesh?
A degree from RGPV is as valuable as a degree from any other university. This university is also approved by UGC and is the state technological university of MP.
There are two cases where you are getting this degree. First, you are willing to pursue a career through competitive exams. If that is the case then don’t worry. This degree holds value throughout the country.
Second, you are pursuing this degree to get a job at an IT firm. If this is the case then you should know there are chances your degree does not get recognition easily. Some companies like Accenture, have criteria that the student should be from a particular college.
Apart from this, there is no specific reason for your degree to be devalued.
How can one score 9 CGPA in RGPV exams?

How do I write answers in RGPV to get marks?
My neighbour is a lecturer. She told me some important points to keep in mind for any subject semester.

Look for the questions that you are best versed in and attempt those first. Go in descending order i.e., from best to worst. This will help maintain the quality of your answers.

Writing in points will give you bonus marks. Black pens are not allowed so don’t use them. Highlight the parts of the answer you wish to be seen by the examiner first.

Draw neat labelled diagrams of appropriate size. Note that the size of the diagram has nothing to do with your marks.

Another way to improve the quality of your answers is to use the required technical words.

Neat handwriting will definitely get you some brownie points. There should be proper spacing between two words.
The trick that will surely get you a few more marks is to highlight important parts while you are writing the answers. You may use the same pen or even pencil. In case you don’t know the answer to a question, focus on the keywords in the question and write your answer based on them itself.
Why does RGPV take so long to deliver degrees?
One of my friends has graduated from RGPV main campus. He told me how irresponsible the staff is. He had to stay in the college for more than 2 years although the duration of his course was 2 years. This happened because of the college's inability to complete the course on time.
This delay is the fault of the administration, staff and faculty as a whole. Many students suffer because of their inefficiency and slow tactics. The highest and oldest officials of the college have strong political relations because of which the danger to their job is minimal.
The college is slow when it comes to taking action to any kind of request. Getting a degree is a mighty task here. If you still haven’t got it, contact the administrative department frequently.
What should I do if RGPV is not sending my degree certificate?
Getting your RGPV degree certificate is as difficult as getting any certificate from a Government Office without Corruption.
There are two ways you can try to get your degree:

Apply online using RGPV portal: For this method, you need to first login using your enrolment number and password. This has to be the same you have been using for 4 years. Select the ‘Apply for Degree’ option. Pay INR 250 ( you will have to pay extra if your annual subscription has expired). Now you will have to wait for almost a year after which your degree will be finally delivered to your doorstep.

The next and more quick way is to personally visit the RGPV campus. Go to the central building and ask for information regarding the degree. After a few formalities and hours of patience, you will finally get your degree.
If you want RGPV degree urgently, you will have to visit the campus. But if you are in no rush then consider it delivered after a year.
