Had I been in your place I would have definitely choose chosen Chandigarh University for my BBA program. This is mainly because the universe she boasts of higher rankings issued by national rating, services that judge and institutionalize the quality of education, offered research culture, fees, and overall athletic excellence. Quite amazingly, Chandigarh University has been awarded an A+ by NAAC.

Today, the University School of Business is among the top management colleges in Punjab. Its reputation stems from the unique pedagogy adopted and case-based approach

The following highlights the major points why I consider Chandigarh University for BBA a more probable choice over a Lovely Professional University.

  1. One can pursue multiple specializations through more than 70 open electives offered
  2. The placement procedures inculcate advanced technologies and integration
  3. Flexible Choice Based Credit System (FCBCS)
  4. A number of next-generation industry collaborated Programs in association with IBM, ICICI, Tally & Flip
  5. The curriculum is at par with the top B schools and is Industry Relevant

These points are the main reasons I would choose Chandigarh University over LPU any day.

B.com Hons. from Satyawati College, University of Delhi (2020)

Amity University is definitely better than Satyawati College in terms of infrastructure. However, if we consider the worth of your degree and college environment, then Satyawati College is better. It comes under one of the top universities in India, i.e. Delhi University. Satyawati College fees are also more affordable, compared to Amity University.

I was hoping to join Amity University, Noida for computer science engineering. Should I join or not?

RS
Radhika Singh Posted On : April 13th, 2021
B.Tech from Amity University

If you are thinking of joining Amity University, Noida for Computer Engineering, then it would not be an idle choice.

One of my friends studies at Amity University, Noida, and here are some reasons why you should consider Amity University for Chemical Engineering.

  • Faculty: The faculty of Amity University Chemical Engineering is decent. Some professors are good, but they are limited in number.
  • International College Tie-ups: Amity University has tie-ups with reputed international universities. Students have to manage the cost by themselves, though.
  • Research Facility: There is no proper research facility and faculty. You will not get proper guidance if you are interested in research.
  • Scholarship: To get the scholarship, students have to be in the top 5% and must have a high CGPA. If you manage to get a place in the top 10% then only 50% will be given. And if you fail to do so, you will not be eligible for the scholarship.

Therefore, Amity University, Noida, is a decent choice for Chemical Engineering. You can definitely go for it.

What is a good PG near Amity University, Noida?

SS
Sanya Shah Posted On : April 15th, 2021
Studied at G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (2021)

For students, there are several PGs near Amity University in Noida. The majority of the students stay in the PG lane on the opposite side of the road. You will not face any problem in locating one within your budget.

  • The range starts from Rs. 8,500 to Rs. 20,500 depending on the sharing basis and the amenities available.
  • Locally owned and operated PGs, on the other hand, are known for compromising the standard of their food, housekeeping, and other amenities.
  • Professional PGs managed by new start-up companies are also available there.

One of my friends is from Amity, and she is staying in Santorini House, a student PG run by Stanza Living.

  • The rooms are reasonably wide and have good ventilation. The food is also of high quality.
  • The Wi-Fi can be slow at times, which may be due to network issues, but the other amenities, such as housekeeping and security, are worth the price.
  • They host events in-house activities, such as booking movie tickets for all students recently, and freshers the night before that.
  • The market is right in front of the PG, so there is no problem with long-distance. The college is also located within walking distance.

One more thing that you will find very cool is that they have partnerships with nearby shops and restaurants such as Egg Bistro, Fuels Café, Chao Bella, and others. This enables students to receive significant discounts on food orders.

Which one will be better for Mass Communication: Amity University (Noida) or Manipal University (Jaipur)?

MS
Mukul Sachdeva Posted On : April 13th, 2021
Studies at Manipal University

Amity University, Noida, and Manipal University, Jaipur are not good options for Mass Communication. I know a few people from both the institutes and I have not heard good reviews about the mass communication program at the institutes.

For 2 years, Amity University, Noida will charge almost 6 lakhs for the course. However, the quality of education and the placement opportunities is not worth the course fee that they charge. Most of the students end up getting sales jobs with a salary package of around INR 30,000 per month.

The same can be seen at Manipal University Jaipur.

The problem with the Mass Communication program offered by these institutes is that the course structure is quite outdated. It does not meet the needs of the current industry. So, if you want a successful career in Mass Communication it will be better if you don’t choose any of these two options.

Which has more value for a BBA, Amity Global Business School or Amity University?

SK
Saloni Khandelwal Posted On : May 11th, 2021
Studied at Amity University (2019)

Not all Amities are glittery. Some just focus on the extra-curricular and college fun. In some Amities, the students, as well as faculties are worse. They are open to DJ Parties, Fashion Shows, Picture Promotions, and some random events the whole year. Even if you try, you will get distracted by another event or happenings.

Choosing the better Amity

  • You need to first collect the information about both Amity campuses, according to the place you prefer. It doesn’t matter if it is a university or a business school.
  • Reach out to alumni or any other intellectual people from whom you can take advice, ask about the expertise of teachers, and know the genuine placements.
  • As Amity is a brand, its degree will have a weightage on your resume. So, it is better to choose according to you.
  • Amity Global Business School (AGBS) seems to be a cherry because of its fee. But it has not been well-established. Amity University is ahead of AGBS in terms of infrastructure and faculties.

Categories

AGBS

Amity University

Course Fee

INR 8.38 Lakhs

INR 10.83 Lakhs

Recruiting Companies

Infosys, Bajaj, JK Cement, Ultra Tech, etc.

HCL, Reliance, Axis Bank, Airtel, etc.

Amity University gives you international exposure with its affiliation with various foreign institutes.

The main thing is that after your 10+2, no AGBS or Amity University or even IIMs will spoon-feed you to study and grow. Bind your seriousness throughout your journey of BBA.

Which college is better for an MBA, BIMTECH, or Amity?

NS
Nikita Sharma Posted On : May 11th, 2021
Studied at BIMTECH

Well, many of my friends recommend going for BIMTECH. But honestly, none of these two are great options for an MBA.

Comparison:

  • At Amity you will find a beautiful campus and the management degree is better than the Engineering degree offered through it is a school of engineering in terms of academics and discipline. But in general, the management degree is quite average. You will get placement with an average package of 5–6 LPA which is below average for an MBA graduate. Yes, some 4–5 students manage to get a package of above 10 LPA.
  • BIMTECH has a better placement record, comparably. On average, you can expect to receive an average package of around 6–8 lakhs per annum. If you are lucky enough and have a good academic record, you can bag placement packages of around 9–10 LPA.
  • Talking about the overall exposure, Both Amity and BIMTECH have Good exposure, not as good as IIMs/XLRI or NMIMS/SP-Jain. You will find both of them have a good corporate connect where you get to attend a lot of conferences and workshops. Both colleges help you to find summer placements although, most of these placements don’t have much substance.

Parameters

BIMTECH

Amity University

Average CTC

INR 8.13 LPA

INR 14 LPA

Placement Average

96.59%

93%

Tuition Fee

12 lakhs

6.80 lakhs

If you have no other better option and you don’t want to repeat another year to prepare for CAT, only then go to these colleges.

Otherwise, Consider repeating another year and Aim for colleges like NMIMS (Mumbai), Symbiosis Pune, or XIM Bhubneshwar. These colleges are Good and the placements lie between 10–15 LPA, which is decent enough. You can even get into new IIMs with a bit of effort, if not the old ones.
