WH1 is a code that appears on Anna University exam results and indicates that the results have been withheld due to a specific reason. In the case of WH1, the reason is that the college has failed to submit the internal marks of students. Internal marks are a crucial component of the evaluation process, and they play a significant role in determining the final grades of the students.
The college has a responsibility to submit the internal marks of the students to the university on time. If the college fails to do so, the university withholds the results until the internal marks are submitted. This process ensures that the evaluation of the students is accurate and fair and that the results reflect the true performance of the students.
Once the college takes the appropriate steps to submit the internal marks of the students, the university releases the results. It is important to note that the release of the results is entirely dependent on the college's action in submitting the internal marks. Therefore, it is crucial that the colleges submit the internal marks on time to avoid any delays in the release of the results.
In conclusion, WH1 is a code that appears on Anna University exam results when the college fails to submit the internal marks of students. The college must take the necessary steps to submit the internal marks, and once they do so, the university releases the results. It is essential for the colleges to submit the internal marks on time to avoid any delay in the release of the results.
Yes, you can definitely apply for a revaluation at Anna University and chances are you will be promoted provided that you attempted the exam well. One of my friends scored 30 before and 50 after revaluation while some even changed their scores from 20 to 50!
Here are a few tips to score high at Anna University:
So, passing Anna University exams is not very challenging and the revaluation method is all the more helpful.

Anna University is ranked as follows:
The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3.
The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.
ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
One of my friends is a CEG alumni. He thinks it’s the best option for CSE. Some strong points that support his opinions are:
Faculty: The faculty of CEG is of good quality. Many are experienced and alumni of CEG themselves.
Diverse Background: CEG welcomes a mix crown. Your peers are from everywhere across India and this makes it a more thrilling experience.
Rules and Regulations: CEG does not impose unnecessary rules on its students. They are given an extent of freedom.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are well equipped. Canteen food is of good quality at very low cost.
Network: CEG has excellent Wi-Fi facilities.
Hostel: Although the food is of average quality, the cost of hostels is less. The buildings are poor but in good condition.
Extracurricular activities: CEG believes in exposure to extracurricular activities other than academics.
Global Recognition: CEG has excellent recognition among foreign universities.
So overall CEG is the best option of all the other colleges you mentioned. But the placements at CS are better.
So the conclusion is CEG > SSN > SRM/Amrita.
Honestly, the evaluation process at Anna University is quite messed up. There is no proper strategy behind their valuation. It’s just your luck that decides your marks.
Most of the students have to apply for revaluation, the fees for which is around INR 700 for a single paper. Apart from this if you are willing to apply for a challenge review, the cost is INR 3000. All this seems like a money making strategy. Despite revaluation students keep getting worse grades every year.
This practice is spoiling the future of so many bright students. Hope someone takes action.
In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles. Accenture, Adobe, Infosys, EY, KPMG, and others were among Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's top recruiters in 2022.
They certainly can. Anna University in Chennai now handles admissions to engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu following the exclusion of the Tamil Nadu Professional Colleges Entrance Examination in 2007.
For students from other states, it has a special space reserved for them, and on a different day, counseling is provided. Because there aren't many people coming from other states to study at Anna University, they should have an easy time getting in.
TNEA is the state-level admission procedure for the state of Tamil Nadu. Anna University organizes it to provide admissions to B.E./B. Tech professional degree courses. Admission will be granted solely on the basis of the intermediate (12th) class percentage. The candidate must obtain 45% (general category), 40% (backward class, including backward class Muslim), 40% (MBC and DNC), and 40% (SC/ST/SCA).
If SSN College of Engineering becomes an autonomous college under Anna University, the current students will be entitled to the following benefits:
Students will be free from the messed up revaluation criteria
They will have liberal attendance rules
Organised exam schedules
Internal marks
More focus on focus on extra-curricular, sports and club activities
Application oriented learning
Increase in popularity of the college among student communities
So becoming an autonomous institution will bring in a lot of benefits to its current students provided that the management conducts a thorough research on what measures need to be adopted to really raise the quality of education. SSN will change its ideology of being conventional to being practical.
