M.Math is quite thorough in different ways, it is best not to end up opting for it without vital information. As a brief interpretation, you really do not require programming skills to further opt for the M.Math course.
M.Math students usually secure placements at a variety of companies, but achieving that howsoever is extremely difficult. Thus, choose only if you are confident.
After reading some reviews online, I can say that, if you want to be a data scientist, ISI Kolkata would be a good choice. In fact, it is said to be the top college for aspiring data scientists. This would definitely open up a lot of opportunities.

Average CTC | 9 LPA | 8-10 LPA | 6 PA |

However, if you want to be a developer, the ISI M.Tech CS program falls short of IIIT-H and BITS Pilani CSE. I believe IIIT-H and BITS Pilani offers similar opportunities for software developer positions.
One of my friends had the absolute delight to appear for the PGDBA interview conducted by a multifaceted panel. He shared his interview experience which might help you a bit.
Before the interview began, he was taken for a Verification Round wherein, every detail of academics scores or other profile-related information was cross-checked on the IIMs format. Once they received an IIM-verified document they were escorted to the interview venue.
The interview room had 3 panels; one from each institute obviously.
They asked for his brief introduction first. On hearing about his interest in Data Analytics, panelists probed him further with questions like
They further asked him why he chose Analytics. He told them that the increasing demand for the same in Europe and China made him realize how much India lacks in this aspect and thus he wanted to invest his efforts in Data Analytics.
Next, he was tested on his knowledge of Statistics and Mathematics with questions like
The next panelist took the reins and gave him a problem from SPC quality control. He asked him how do you know that his process in electric bulb making is as per customer Norma and is statistically controlled. My friend was able to answer most of the questions confidently and even solved this problem through charts.
Lastly, he was asked about his extracurricular activities and hobbies. The discussion ended with him asking about GST and the difference between GST and previous tax. Even though he gave a common answer, he managed to convert the interview.
ISI Kolkata is the best option for MSc in Maths, followed by IISc. IIT KGP is reputed in the technology domain, but for core science subjects, it’s not a good option. If you are interested to pursue pure Mathematics, choosing ISI is the best option among these. It specializes in the field. You will get better career opportunities and exposure in the field.
First of all, please do not worry about the age limit because as a 20-year old you'll definitely be considered for entrance exams. There is a rule which states that you cannot appear more than the fixed number of times for the same exam, but there's no rule which bars you because of your age.
You'll find that you will have seniors in your batch too and maybe those with similar concerns, such as yours.
As for the admission process, you do not have to worry about looks, age, number of years, height, weight, or skin color. Except for your appearance and behavior, the rest is overlooked. Also, you must be fast at calculation and logic to do well in the interview.
If you are going for a Master’s degree just for the sake of getting good pay, then don't, it'll be a waste of your 2 precious years. Let me give you an overview:
If you are in Kolkata, then definitely go to ISI. There's a bookstore behind the college, it has a Math book especially for the ISI entrance test. You may buy and prep from that.
M.Tech CS at ISI Kolkata isn’t just for CSE graduates. The student crowd includes students from all engineering streams. So, in the first year, ISI encourages students from non-CSE backgrounds to learn coding and study computer science courses. While CSE students are encouraged to take Mathematics courses such as Algebra, or Probability.
Second year course curriculum can seem a little boring for students with CS background. As the major chunk of the curriculum includes Algorithms, Networking, DBMS, etc. But you should use this opportunity to brush up on these subjects. You will also have the option to do research work, during the course tenure. Pursuing a research project can be really helpful if you are interested in doing a Ph.D. or an internship afterward.
In the second year, you will be allowed to choose a course of your choice. Try to take a subject that is relevant to your thesis work. The coursework in the third year can get extremely hectic, you will have to work on your thesis, start preparing for placement or PhD, and work on five subjects.
Well, whether the rooms are conditioned or not doesn’t matter as you are there to study and not relax. But, I can tell you that there is no such facility.
If you're searching for AC rooms, then you should opt for the college which gives you all kinds of things to cut your time and not a college that gives priority to academics, placements, research, etc.
If you want one there are multiple private colleges which provide you with AC rooms. There you can get all this and spend your time easily.
Yes, you can apply for more than one master’s course at ISI Kolkata but you won’t be able to appear for more than one entrance examination.
But in the end, you will have to decide which exam you want to prepare for and appear in.
ISI is an Institution that is controlled by a single governing body but has different centers, unlike IITs which are governed by independent bodies.
This means, no matter if you study from any branch of ISI like Bangalore, Delhi, or Chennai, you will be awarded a degree from ISI Kolkata only because that’s the headquarters.
Therefore it makes no difference between the curriculum and value of both ISI Kolkata and Bangalore. The only difference between the institutes lies in the course that they offer. ISI Bangalore offers Bachelor’s course in Mathematics whereas, ISI Kolkata offers Bachelor's course in Statistics.
So, the choice of institute totally depends on whether you are interested in statistics or mathematics.
