Among the new IIMs with the highest number of international placements/summer internships and comparable, if not better, overall placements than all other new IIMs. IIM Kashipur is a place for fostering new ideas and feeling satisfied when they come to fruition.

If you believe in a traditional legacy-driven culture, and the comfort of having a tremendously established alumni pool, then IIM Kashipur may be suitable for you but after 10 years or so.
If you like to contribute new ideas and believe in working towards them, or maybe in organizing events as formative batches to make them a legacy for your juniors to carry forward, then IIM Kashipur is the place for you.
Which one of the two would be a better choice, IIM Raipur or IIM Kashipur?
IIM Delhi would have been a reality if capital cities were the only places that could draw high-caliber placements. Since many of the participants in this thread appear to be unaware of the paradox that geography affects employment opportunities.
Slow placements and offer retraction have been a source of complaint for many IIMs. In addition, numerous IIMs, including Raipur, according to the papers, have been asked to submit their reports for review by the MHRD due to unsatisfactory data. Honestly speaking, a career in investment banking should not be considered by the new IIMs. It’s a too ambitious profile to match the relatively new curriculum of these IIMs. Even if you are in a top B School, you will have to remain among the top students to get placed for a front-end role. One can still get roles in corporate & business finance but getting roles in Investment Banking is rather difficult.
Yet if you are not choosing an older IIM and want to choose a newer one, IIM Trichy is the best among them. The order is
IIM Trichy > IIM Udaipur > IIM Ranchi
There are many B Schools apart from IIMs that offer great Investment Banking roles. These include SPJIMR, JBIMS Mumbai, IIFT, and XLRI.
Does IIM Kashipur provide scholarships to its students?

You have a feeling that you belong not just to an IIM but to IIM Kashipur which is unique. You have a different aura along with a sense of individualism that molds you into an excellent leader.
The students are loners who belong to their nation more than any state, linguistic group, or committee for that matter. Although only half or less of the batch has this mindset, it’s satisfying to watch them grow individually. Exceptions include some grouping and communism on the basis of geographical diversity.
