Is it true that NIET placements are really best?

SS
Subhas Sengupta Posted On : June 8th, 2021
Studied at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (2017)

I have some friends who went to NIET. And based on the conversion I had with them, I will say placement at the institute is quite good.

Numerous companies visit and recruit at NIET. If you're talented, you can get a good placement. NIET provides opportunities for its students to interact with companies and learn about job openings.

Here are the highlights of placement for 2020.

Average CTC 11 LPA
Highest CTC 3.8 LPA
Total no of students placed 1,772

There are placement preparation classes held on campus. These classes are also quite affordable. Overall, you will have enough good placement opportunities at the institute.

I am studying for a B.Tech in CSE at NIET Greater Noida. Will I be able to work in big IT companies in the future?

Lives in Greater Noida

You will choose your own path, and how much you are willing to learn is entirely up to you. It is up to you to improve your skills.

NIET is the only college in the Delhi NCR that has the following characteristics:

  • Recognized by three government bodies: NAAC Grade 'A,' NBA, and NIRF Ranking.

  • Best faculty members, infrastructure, lab facilities, and round-the-clock placement activities.

  • Furthermore, the NIET administration is most concerned with placing each student. For student placement, NIET was the first institute in NCR to have a Microsoft Innovation Centre (to provide students with industry-specific training), Prometric Lab, Mock Preparation, TCS Accreditation, and many other facilities.

  • Thousands of NIET students are working in various MNCs such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Cisco, Google, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others, as well as various government organizations in India.

Although you want to work for a large IT firm, if you do not get a job with a large IT firm, do not lose faith in yourself. If you get a job in a small IT company, it's not a bad option for freshers because you'll learn a lot and have more responsibilities.

Should I take ECE at NIET or CSE at GNIOT?

TD
Tezal Dahiya Posted On : October 6th, 2023

NIET would be a better option than NIT Agartala. NIET is accredited by NAAC. NIET boasts an impressive track record and holds high rankings across various metrics, solidifying its reputation as a promising educational institution. The reasons for choosing NIET are as follows:

  • Ranking: NIET ranked 101 among the top engineering colleges of India.
  • Placement: This year in campus placement of NIET, the highest package offered was INR 58 LPA and an average package of INR 5.76 LPA. Top recruiters like Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, E&Y, Microsoft, Infosys, HCL, etc. visited the campus for placement.
  • Infrastructure: The hostel rooms at NIET have great high-speed internet access. Almost every sort of resource is available. Campus life and dorm life are excellent.
  • Alumni: Abhishek Tyagi (Graduate Engineer Trainee, CAP Gemini), Rishabh Tiwari (Graduate Engineer Trainee, Hyundai Motors), etc. are a few notable alumni of this organization.

NIET offers a compelling opportunity for a solid academic foundation, good placement statistics, and a dynamic learning environment that is ideal for being a better choice than NIT Agartala.

Is there a uniform in NIET?

SV
Sanchit Verma Posted On : June 18th, 2021
B.Com at Sharda University, Noida (2019)

No, there is no uniform at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology.

  • In the fourth year, you will be required to wear formals on certain occasions, such as when volunteering for an event or giving a presentation.
  • MBA students are required to wear a uniform. During placement training in the final year, a uniform is required, which is typically a navy blue shirt and black pants. You can wear a white shirt as well.
  • Although they do give directions for formals for placements, it is not obligatory; so one can have formals of his or her own choosing.

My brother is in his third year, and there is currently no such thing as a uniform. However, for campus requirements, the dress code is there (White or light blue shirt and black pants, and blue or black coat and tie). Most students do not follow any dress code. So you can wear whatever you want. It’s all up to you.

B.tech CS from KCC Institute of Technology and Management (2018)

Yes, a good PG or paying guest accommodation near NIET college is easier to find as there are many PGs and a hostel in the NIET college. The college’s hostel has a separate building for the 1st year students apart from the college campus.

One great option for the PG near NIET college is the Judge’s Society (Royal Paradise). They provide all services essential for the students such as bus services, the four meal option including breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner), washing facilities, medium level internet, and the fees can be paid in the instalments.

The campus is beautiful. It is within walking distance from the college that is around 1-1.5 km. The campus is surrounded by beautiful houses and is secured also.

Is it good to get admission in NIET for an MBA?

SD
Soumita Dasgupta Posted On : May 26th, 2021
MBA from IIM Calcutta

NIET, Greater Noida is mainly known for its Engineering courses and has very recently started an MBA course as well. MBA courses need a different approach in terms of academics. An MBA or PGDM course needs to advance with several case studies to analyze a particular situation and what could possibly be the reasonable outcome for the same.

One of my cousins, since he studied in NIET, has briefed me about his experience. There are several reasons why you may not want to take admission in NIET, Greater Noida.

  • NIET, Greater Noida is not supposedly going to supply you with various good case studies. In fact, there hadn’t been much at all.
  • Sadly, their primary goal is to only provide you the very basic knowledge and help you further to obtain a degree.
  • Additionally, there are not many companies that actually visit the campus for placement offers. Before asking the management, you can run a check by asking the students who passed out from NIET.
  • The infrastructure of the college is not quite the best and there has been no record of extracurricular activities. While to say, extracurricular activities are nonetheless one major part of any MBA course structure.
  • Other than that, if you possibly want to pursue a career in MBA within 2 to 3 Lacs for a whole course and curriculum, then you can opt for Galgotias, Greater Noida, or ABES, Ghaziabad.

Even for BTech, NIET has not been able to give good placement offers. So, consider all these factors before deciding.
