Is it worth to join Nicmar after working for two years in L&T as I am more concerned about the salary package that the placement at NICMAR?

Is getting in NICMAR for a PGP ACM a good option when I have no work experience?
Even though you do not have prior work experience, doing PGP ACM from NICMAR will always help you and give you an edge in the field of Engineering.
I have friends who joined NICMAR Pune just after UG in Civil Engineering. Some joined ACM and some joined PM at Pune. Are there any construction management courses offered in India apart from NICMAR and Amity's RICS?
Construction management is offered by IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, and NIT Suratkal. The course name may not be exactly construction management, it is Construction Technology and Management in IIT D and Building Technology and Construction Management in IIT M. You can get into these programs through GATE.
Also, if you are in the final year of B Tech you can get into IIT D, IIT M, NIT Suratkal, and NIT Trichy through the Build India Scholarship of L&T construction.
There are no other prestigious institute that offers construction management courses
Is education loan provided by NICMAR?
No institute provides education loans by itself, but these institutions have banking partners who provide education loans. There is a huge number of banks that provides education loan, like SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and many more.
The interest rates vary according to the bank. The interest rates start from 6-7% and go up to 11-12%. Every bank has a rating system for institutes, and according to those ratings, they decide the interest rate. For IIMs, Canara Bank provides education loans at 7% per annum. IIMs are listed in category 1 for Canara Bank. Similarly, you can check your institute on its website.
Should I do an MBA or go for construction management from NICMAR?
First comes the course, Advance Construction Management (ACM), and any other MBA courses.
The finest option for any civil engineer, in my opinion, is ACM.
NICMAR or any other college, second part. The primary three or four criteria for selecting one college over another are as follows:

- Placement
- Fees
- Other facilities like hostel, food, etc
You can judge NICMAR or any other college based on the aforementioned criteria. Here are some NICMAR facts that can aid you in choosing wisely:
- Education (faculty) standard - This differs from the past as many excellent professors have gone and launched their own certification programs.
- Placement: You shouldn't worry, as the average package always relies on the condition of the market. The campus is visited by both domestic and foreign (Middle Eastern) firms.
- Fees - Approximately (Rs 12.5 Lacs) higher than average.
- Other amenities are good—you might even say better.
Finally, let me mention that you should compare these points to any other colleges you are considering before making a decision.
Is doing ACM at the NICMAR with 100% loan worth it?

Lower fees - You can chose RICS for its lower fees and excellent education. RICS offers a professional MBA with MRICS, but NICMAR charges a lot for a diploma. I believe the fee fluctuates between 2–5 lakhs.
Commendable placement record - Almost all students are placed in prominent corporate and government institutions in India and abroad. Management takes student placements seriously and helps students find the right career. However, with almost no multinational companies coming to school, the average income at NICMAR has dropped, making aspirational earnings dubious.

What do I need to bring while coming to NICMAR hostel?
You should carry a laptop or notepad with you. It is mandatory. Most of the topics in class are taught through presentations and PPTs so it is mandatory that you have a laptop.
A pair of formals is also required. You must carry atleast a pair of formals as you would be required to wear them for presentations and guest lectures.
Other than that you should carry your documents, stuff like an iron, some stationery, ethnic wear etc.
