Yes, IIIT Lucknow has a better package for CS and IT students than IIIT Allahabad and IIIT H. However, it will not give you a guarantee that you will get placed after completing your studies from IIIT Lucknow.

IIIT Lucknow has been established over many years, and is one of the oldest campuses of IITs. The Lucknow campus is from one of the top 5 campuses of IIT and probably the best one. It grew fast as compared to any other institutes 

The average salary offered to IIIT Lucknow students is INR 18.42 LPA, while the highest package goes to INR 43 LPA. The Median package is INR 15 LPA, and the minimum package offered is INR 10 LPA.

Seeing the current scenario, in future also, IIIT Lucknow will give good placement to its students.

• The first batch of IIIT Lucknow is placed and none of the other IIITs mentioned has witnessed a single placement season yet. Placements of IIIT Lucknow were so great which is rare for an institute participating in placements for the first time.
• The permanent campus for IIIT Lucknow is almost ready while for IIIT Bhopal and Surat, the work for construction is yet to start. My cousin is a 1st-year student of IIIT Lucknow and also the very first batch of the newly built permanent campus of IIIT Lucknow.

• The coding culture at IIIT Lucknow is the best among all the newly built IIITS.

• Seniors are extremely supportive and Workshops are being conducted by them already.

• You may face some problems due to not having enough resources as it is a new campus, but so will be the same for other new IIITS.

• And lastly, Lucknow being a metropolitan city will give you a lot of advantages, with metro being started and Campus being in the city itself.

Although quality education is common in all of these IIITs, IIIT Lucknow holds an edge over the others. The points mentioned above may prove to be minor for some of you but for many people out there, these points matter a lot and might have cleared a lot of confusion in your mind.

Placement at any institute primarily depends on the alumni base and the student quality. As IIIT Lucknow is a fairly new establishment it does not have a wide alumni base. However, the placement record for the institute has been great for the 1st batch.

The institute has a decent placement with the average package for M.Tech was around 10.5 LPA. In MBA, the highest was 15 LPA.

If you're not getting IIIT Gwalior, then the order should be as follows: IIIT Lucknow > IIIT Vadodara > IIIT Kota.

IIIT Lucknow was recently established and is making good progress and the placement records are good. If one has to choose between IIIT- Kota or IIIT- Vadodara or IIIT- Lucknow, choose IIIT-Lucknow any day!

IIIT Vadodara doesn’t own a permanent campus but it is known for its coding culture and the placement statistics are far better. Also, final-year students do get an opportunity for an internship to work in Amazon.
